I'm not letting this virus rain on my Easter parade, so I came up with tips how to celebrate Easter while quarantined.

Attend Church via Online

My church streams live services every Saturday night and Sunday mornings during quarantine. No, they are not meeting together like normal, but hearing the message of God can help us feel so grateful and positive during this crazy time. If you want to check out my churches live stream or older services here's the link at Sun Valley Community Church.

Decorate Easter Eggs

Have a fun craft project and decorate some eggs! All you need is food coloring, vinegar, and hot water! Check out Pinterest for some fun easy projects!

Have an Easter Egg Hunt

Whether you're in an apartment or you have your back yard, go Easter egg hunting! We are all living in difficult times right now. Do something sill that will bring out the child in you! I live with a couple roommates so it will be fun putting out eggs for some good competitive fun!

Celebrate With Family via Zoom or FaceTime

Since I live half way across the country from my parents and family members I won't be celebrating with them. Instead I will be FaceTiming them to wish them a happy Easter.

Make Your Favorite Meal

It doesn't have to be Easter related or really expensive. Make something you can be grateful for. You can even order from a local restaurant or order groceries online instead of going inside the stores. I'll be make Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken because it's cost efficient and delicious! Don't forget about dessert!

Be Grateful

Write down EVERYTHING you are grateful for. From the roof that's covering your head to your eyes that's able to read this!

Just because we aren't allowed to participate in our normal activities doesn't mean everything has to stop. Continue to find the good in everything you do. Stay positive because this too shall pass and we can continue to our normal routine soon enough.
